The atmosphere isn't anything special but the menu is. Wylie's is what happens when a pub undergoes an identity crisis. It serves the classics--like nachos, wraps and burgers--but also has a selection of Indian and Mediterranean dishes. We got the waitress-recommended Wylie's Famous Yam Fries ($6.99) and the Chipotle Grilled Steak Sandwich ($12.99).

The fries are Wylie's signature and it's easy to see why. They're served with a sour cream sauce and were addictively good. The sandwich was made up of a slightly tough Cajun-rubbed steak topped with sautéed onions, grilled mushrooms, and cheddar cheese with onion rings on the side. The food was good--nothing amazing, just what you'd expect at a typical pub. As always with pub food, the serving sizes were huge and shareable.
